Présentation
La Fédération Internationale des Centres d’Études et de Documentation Libertaires (FICEDL), qui a été créée à Marseille en 1979, est un organisme de coordination internationale entre les associations qui s’occupent de toute documentation concernant le mouvement anarchiste. Son but initial est de créer un réseau de soutiens réciproques, d’échanges d’informations afin de concourir à une vision collective sur la conservation du patrimoine culturel de tout le mouvement libertaire. La Fédération, qui n’est pas à proprement parler une structure formelle, se réunit périodiquement, par rotation, dans divers centres adhérents. Elle cherche à mettre en œuvre une politique de coopération, en tenant compte des spécificités de chacun. L’adhésion à la Fédération se base sur une « charte associative.
Les rencontres ont lieu, tous les deux ans, en Europe. Durant plusieurs années le bulletin « Anarchives » destiné essentiellement à une information interne à la Fédération assura le lien entre les divers centres. De 1979 à 1982 sont sortis quinze numéros ; d’un graphisme sobre, ils ont été successivement publiés à Paris, Marseille et Barcelone, donnant des nouvelles des activités des divers centres, signalant les nouveautés éditoriales, les recherches en cours et quelques analyses d’œuvres. Après la suspension de la parution, une rubrique FICEDL a été incorporée dans le Bulletin du Cira Lausanne pendant quelques années.
